The Easton Youth Elite X Boxed Catcher’s Set Red/Navy: A165426 is a complete youth catcher’s gear package designed to provide young baseball players with dependable protection, comfort, secure fitting, and freedom of movement behind the plate. This boxed catcher’s set combines an Elite X catcher’s helmet, chest protector, and leg guards into one convenient package, making it an excellent choice for youth baseball catchers competing and practicing at all levels of play.

Built with performance and protection in mind, the Easton Youth Elite X Catcher’s Set features durable construction and thoughtful design details throughout the helmet, chest protector, and leg guards. The red and navy color combination gives the equipment a classic athletic appearance while the protective components are engineered to help young catchers stay confident during every inning.

Elite X Catcher’s Helmet

The Elite X catcher’s helmet features a black steel cage with a flat middle bar designed to provide increased visibility while maintaining protective coverage. The ABS plastic shell includes strategic airflow vents to help improve ventilation during games and practices.

Inside, plush wrapped padding combines with breathable air mesh and BioDri™ moisture-wicking fabric around the forehead to help manage moisture and improve comfort. The ergonomic chin cup is designed for a better fit while allowing clear communication between the catcher and teammates.

The forehead and chin pads are removable and washable, making it easier to maintain a clean and comfortable helmet throughout the season. A matte solid-shell exterior provides a sleek appearance, while the extra-wide rear top strap helps create a secure, locked-in adjustment.

The helmet is designed to meet NOCSAE standards for all levels of play and fits head sizes from approximately 6 1/2 to 7 1/8.

Elite X Chest Protector

The Elite X chest protector is designed to provide reliable coverage while supporting mobility behind the plate. Stacked memory foam in the abdominal area helps provide improved rebound control, helping manage balls that contact the protector.

An adjustable shoulder cap allows the fit to be customized, while the 4-point webbing strap system and neoprene back organizer help create a secure, tight fit. The heavy-duty black-coated steel inset waist clip is designed to provide a better wrapped fit around the body.

The Easton Elite X chest protector measures approximately 15 inches and meets the NOCSAE Commotio Cordis standard, making it an important component of this youth catcher’s protective gear package.

Elite X Leg Guards

The Elite X leg guards are built for movement, stability, and protection while catching. A reinforced knee and thigh connection helps improve fit and security when moving into and out of the catcher’s squat.

The wide-set knee design provides a larger surface area when blocking and during explosive side-to-side movements. Removable inner knee and shin pads allow adjustments for improved fit and comfort, while the vented shell design promotes airflow and breathability during extended games and practices.

The youth model features a double-knee design, providing protective coverage while maintaining the mobility young catchers need behind the plate. The leg guards measure approximately 14 inches.
